How to enrol

Once you have selected the course you would like to do, please phone or email to put your name down. We will remind you when enrolment is due.

You can drop in to the Centre and pick up an enrolment form, let us know and we can post you one, or you can download one here.

Most courses are held at the Neighbourhood Centre unless otherwise stated, but if you are unsure of any details, call the Centre for more information.

Fees can be paid by cash, eftpos, cheque, money order, or with your credit card over the phone. If you would like to make an internet payment pleas call the centre for our bank details. Payment by instalments can also be arranged.

If you need information, advice or special support to attend a course, please make contact with the office. A ramp to the main entrance at the rear of the building leads to the office, hub and classrooms.

If an unfunded course is cancelled, your fee will be refunded. By giving us notice that you cannot attend up to three working days before the course is to begin, your enrolment can be cancelled and the fee refunded in full. For funded courses refund policy contact us.

Access for everyone

The Centre is a community asset, open to all. Course fees are kept as low as possible through the careful guardianship of the staff, the support of volunteers and benefactors, and funding from the Departments of Planning and Community Development, Human Services and Adult Community and Further Education. The Centre is managed by a committee of local volunteers.

Course payments

Fees are charged in line with the Centre’s Fees & Charges Policy. A breakdown of fees for each course is available. Courses marked with an asterisk * are subsidised by Adult Community & Further Education (ACFE).

For these courses the Centre is required to charge a minimum tuition fee in compliance with the Ministerial Directions on Fees & Charges. Concessions and hardship exemptions are available.
