Welcome to our 'new look' Term one 2018 brochure!

We are excited to be offering loads of great activities, courses, events, workshops, classes and
tuition in 2018. As well as all our regular classes and groups we also have some great new
activities including a number of State Government subsidised pre-accredited courses.

Get a realistic taster of what it's like to work and study in some of the leading industries in our
area. Get the inside info, learn basic techniques and find out what you can expect studying or
working in that industry.

Interested in Digital Marketing and Multi-Media? This is great training for small businesses
or community groups. Discover how to harness the potential of blogging, social media, video
editing and other online platforms.

Our ever popular Ceramics Classes are back at Clayspace
in term , bring your inspiration and explore the inherent beauty of clay in all it's forms.

Learn the art of holistic creative cooking using healthy ingredients with our Wholesome Cooking Classes. Dispel the myth that healthy eating is hard work in a series of fun filled interactive cooking sessions.

Expressions of interest are now open for our Hospitality Training course. This is designed as an
introductory course for basic hospitality skills that will enable employment in a café or assist
with further study in that sector.

Expressions of interest are also open for Launch Pad, our
new pilot program designed to assist and empower people wanting to get back into the
workforce, study or to change their career path altogether.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Federation University to deliver a Bachelor of Social Science. This program is designed to be flexible and convenient running during school hours over 2 days per week. Career opportunities include social entrepreneur, local government,
policy developer, tourism, historian and community development.

The Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre, located in the town's historic Old Court-house, is a
dynamic organisation offering a range of activities, including nationally accredited and general
courses as well as community development programs, information and training to satisfy the needs of our very diverse community.

If you have any ideas for courses you'd like to participate in or have a skill or talent you'd like to
